Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was interested in theatre since a young age. As a student of Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple was married in the year. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they left the airforce and Walter began studying at Tulane. Walter was recruited as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production their own. They also established an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also also known as Julie) at the time.
