My child played around inside a playpen, while I worked 12-hour days cleaning the floors, as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! It was all falling into place, but it was not quite done. Growing Days just seemed to fit. Nora my 4th child was born in 2013. Although I was happy about the direction my company took, I felt like I was in need of a little break. I took a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and I slowed down my speed and stayed at home to take care of the kids. The time was right. After a while. I began receiving messages from individuals asking for help in home improvement and design of interiors. These people had mostly been to my home during open houses that were held for furniture. I began to take on customers one by one going at my own pace but it didn't take long before I had several accounts, and I was operating the complete business of home remodeling. You would probably have amused me if I had told you that it would be the foundation of the DIY Network tv series. Indeed, I am laughing at times when I think of it.
